Decompressing
What a month. If you follow this weblog you'll know that I put Ana and Alex on a plane three weeks ago to go back to Spain so Ana could have submit the paperwork to the US Embassy in Madrid and have her Immigration Meeting where she would get her residency Visa to live and work here in the U.S. Well, before that happened I had to get a bunch of paperwork ready for her (taxes, actually) which weren't ready before she left.
So while I was gathering all those papers (and getting them notarized) to FedEx to her (at the accountant's office until 2 a.m. one night), I was also trying to prep for my presentation at ETech (a 4 hour tutorial on J2ME) and working non-stop to get WaveBlog ready to launch at DEMO.
I haven't slept much lately.
Anyways, Ana had her meeting on Tuesday and everything went fine and you can see from the pic above that she received her US visa and will have no problems getting on their return flight next week. (Yay!). The ETech presentation also went okay (Whew!) and now DEMO is done as well (Woof!) - we got back last night around 11:30 p.m.
Insane. I'm so "working from home" today.
