Slow blogging day...
We're trying to meet a somewhat ridiculous deadline at work, so there's not a lot of time for posting or THINKING about posting, which I also do sometimes. It's too bad because good posts fly by that way.
Tonight, I got home a little late and Ana and I decided to try to watch The Lord of the Rings which I bought last week, but haven't had a chance to see yet. Alex makes watching 3 hour movies a challenge... especially at 8 p.m. when he's simultaneously hungry and fussy and ready for bed, but doesn't want to eat, relax or go to sleep. ;-)
I bought a JavaPro today in the news-shop close to work. I was excited that it was there and in English. Woohoo. It was quite useful having a few articles that I found interesting and a demo CD of Weblogic stuff, but it will probably be the last mag I buy for a long while since it cost over 10 Euros!! I almost put it back at the register.
I can't believe the U.S. lost to Argentina at the Basketball World Championships. I got some grief this morning because of it. Not that I'm surprised... I didn't recognize one player on the team. I'm not a huge NBA fan, but still.
