Ripping CDs
While I'm trying to accomplish something today - not doing a hell of a good job, actually - I'm ripping my CDs. I don't have a lot of them, but I want them in MP3 format. I'm going to buy one of those CD/MP3 players for my commute and I decided now was a good time to rip my CDs and burn them onto MP3CDs for both the trip and work.
Gotta love space shifting... I miss Napster. I can't ever seem to find whole ALBUMs using the p2p networks. I'm using MusicMatch because that's what Apple is endorsing for their new iPod for Windows package. I MIGHT try to pick one of those up too since the original 5 gigger is getting cheap and I've got a Firewire card for my computer now.
