Ally McBeal and the DVD Nazis
My wife bought a box set of Ally McBeal. She's into it. There's 4 discs with 4 episodes apiece. On each disc there's like 4 or 5 languages and even more subtitles (because we're here in Europe... they actually use that option, unlike most American DVDs). Fine.
The problem is that before AND after each eposide, it blocks the DVD and displays the copyright license. IN EACH LANGUAGE. It's at least a 4 or 5 minute wait in order to watch a show, then again at the end of the episode you get to wait again, and then if you want to watch the next program? Well you get to see the messages again.
Does anyone else see the obsurdity in this?
My kingdom for a DVD that ignores that fast fowarding disabler.
