Mike and I To Speak at 106 Miles
Mike and I are speaking at 106 Miles this Wednesday about why every startup needs a mobile strategy. "106 Miles is a networking group for entrepreneurial engineers in Silicon Valley" which gets together monthly to hear war stories from other engineers who've started companies. Though neither Mike nor I are actually part of a mobile startup, we were asked because of our experience over the past year putting on Mobile Monday and our knowledge of the industry in general. It should be pretty fun.
Just to note, I won't be speaking in any official Y! capacity, but I've got the mobile evangalism shtick down pat and will be talking to the mobile market in general. Hopefully the attendees will leave with a better understanding of the huge opportunities in the mobile space - I will try to be specific as possible with numbers, etc. The last time I spoke last year at Web 2.0 I was accused of being "ephemeral" so this time I'm going to try to be as detailed as I can.
You have to RSVP to attend and I'm not sure if the meeting is full yet, so definitely send off an email as soon as possible if you want to come.
