Rosebud
I got a snail-mail mailing yesterday that the Stanford Theatre in Palo Alto is open again (I didn't know it existed, let alone that it had been closed). Checking out the schedule, they're showing all these classic black and white movies over the next month or so (maybe all the time).
They're showing films like Sabrina and an Affair to Remember, but the one that I'm actually pretty excited about is Citizen Kane. Yes, I have it on DVD, but that's one of those movies that seems to me would be *really* good to see on the big screen. I'll have to see if we can line up a babysitter for the weekend after next and go check it out.
