Holy SHIT, look at the size of that ramp!
Listening to NPR while playing Tetris (finally finished the "old school" Achievement where you can't use the Hold queue), and I heard this piece about BMX in the Olympics.
I had no idea that BMX is now an Olympic sport. I think that the Olympics has *way* too many sports, but I approve of this one simply because it seems pretty rugged, I used to have a BMX bike when I was a kid, and there's no judges. Judged "sports" aren't sports, IMHO, they're contests or whatever. These guys though are racing their asses off...
Apparently starting down a massive 25 foot ramp.
In the middle of the story they interview Jill Kintner who's talking about the ramp, and it has to be the first time I've heard someone on NPR beeped while being interviewed.
OMG, I was laughing so hard, I was crying...
So awesome.
