In case you haven't heard, Al Gore just won the Nobel Peace Prize, sharing it with the UN Panel for Climate Change.

In its formal citation, the Nobel committee called Mr. Gore "probably the single individual who has done most to create greater worldwide understanding of the measures that need to be adopted."

Awesome! NOW SOMEONE PLEASE GET HIM TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT. I like Barak, I like Hilary... but Al Gore is the right man for the job, goddammit. And I think he can get elected, too... An Oscar winning, Nobel Laureate, Ex-Senator, Ex-Vice President who's already won the popular vote in this country once... I mean, COME ON! Can he still register for the primaries?

Man, I will be the first person to sign on to that campaign if he announces it, seriously.
